Uxbridge Sculpture Symposium

The third annual Uxbridge Sculpture Symposium is planned for September-October, 2010, when a number of local sculptors will carve works over a two-week period, in a public place. Three works resulting from the first symposium in 2008 are already installed in prominent locations with the 2nd annual sculptures to be in place in the town by mid 2010.

Lynne’s Annual Easter Weekend Art Show

Every Easter weekend for over 20 years Lynne McIlvride Evans has held a solo show in her house/studio. This year she continues her exploration of landscapes in 2 and 3 dimensions, many of which were done as a result of a month-long stay at Can Serrat Artist residency at the foot of Montserrat near Barcelona. This show is open to everyone. It’s free. There are cookies.

1. Viktor Tinkl – Sculptor

In 1966 Tinkl moved to an old school house. When it needed repair, the concrete came out. Now the property is a fantasy of aqua-ducts and riots of figures. Summer work – the winter work is on display in the gallery.
