Carmel Brennan
Carmel Brennan is a photographer, a painter, a teacher, and a writer. She is a recorder of images. Carmel's camera is a sketchbook for documenting life.
ABOUT THE ARTIST
Carmel Brennan, born in England, was educated at George Washington University, University of Toronto, and York University and completed a master’s degree at the University of the Highlands and Islands (Scotland).
She is a visual arts educator, an environmental activist, and a curator. Her current environmental project, Letters to the Earth: Between Despair and Hope is being exhibited at galleries around Ontario and in Scotland.
Carmel's studio in Sunderland, Ontario, is open to visitors as part of the Uxbridge Studio Tour and by appointment.

For 2024 Carmel will be welcoming guests to her Sunderland studio to view her work and that of her guest artists Lynda Cunningham and Craig Telfer.
