David Greaves
David Greaves is a self-taught watercolourist influenced by England’s John Yardley, Joseph Zbukvic and the late John Blockley.
ABOUT THE ARTIST
David was born in Yorkshire, England. He attended Art School where he graduated in graphic design. After arriving in Canada David worked in several commercial art studios before opening his own design firm. Although basically a self-taught watercolourist.
David’s work was influenced by England’s John Yardley, Joseph Zbukvic and the late John Blockley.
David has had several group and one-man shows in Scarborough, Markham, Wellington, Etobicoke, Millbrook, Lindsay, Uxbridge, Brockville, Mississauga, Port Perry, Kleinburg, and Toronto.
His paintings hang in many private and corporate collections both in Canada and abroad Including the DuPont Foundation.
Despite a reverence for old rural buildings, David’s paintings also reflect landscapes, seascapes & florals.
David is an elected member of CSPWC and received several awards for his works. His studio home is in the Cannington area of Ontario.

This year, David will be showing his work at the Sunderland studio/gallery of Carmel Brennan, along with guest artists Lynda Cunningham and Craig Telfer.
