Pat Neal
Pat Neal uses traditional, wooden floor looms and fabulous yarns to create her one-of-a-kind woven (often wearable) art pieces.
ABOUT THE ARTIST
Pat has been weaving for more than 30 years, drawn to the slow, meditative process of creating cloth through the intricate blend of texture and colour.
She works on traditional wooden floor looms, adapting historic patterns to 21st century textile needs, using natural fibres such as cotton, silk, hemp and locally sourced Ontario wool.
Pat is passionate about weaving and sharing her love of the craft with others through teaching and volunteering.
Her weaving has been shown in galleries in Canada and the U.S. and is currently available at the Ontario Legislative Assembly gift shop and on her website nakedlambweaving.com.
Studio 10
For 2024 Pat will be showing her work at the studio/gallery/forge of Mark Puigmarti along with fellow guest artists David Trotter, and Nancy R. Chalut.
If you would like to purchase a piece of Pat's work or request a commission piece, contact Pat directly through her website, by email, or by giving her a call.
